Barry M matte caramel with pink chevrons, birds and glitter!

Hi! A couple of days ago I tried my first  proper Ciate polish and I still have it on! It's so pretty and really long lasting! I'll review it soon!

Today I'm going to show you a mani using one of my favourite Barry M polishes and tons of nail art embellishments!

What I used in todays blog post
Base coat - OPI matte nail envy
Colour coats - Barry M matte polish in caramel
Top coat - Duri rejuvacote
Nail art - Chevron vinyls, Bird vinyls and bird cages, pink polish and glitter

Where I bought what I used
OPI matte nail envy - http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/vlnailsupply
Duri rejuvacote - http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/buydailydeals?_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2754
Barry M polish - In store at Tesco
Simple pleasures - A gift
Nail vinyls - Sent to me by NailStickrs to review, these have previously been reviewed, previously been reviewed, please see my disclaimer page for more info
Bird vinyls and bird cages - http://www.she-sells-seashells.co.uk
Glitter - sent to me from W7 to review, this glitter has previously been reviewed, please see my disclaimer page for more info

Other places you can get what I used
OPI matte nail envy - http://www.opiuk.com/store/nail-envy/matte-nail-envy-boxed-
Duri rejuvacote - http://www.duricosmetics.com/duri-cosmetics-rejuvacote-05-05.html
Barry M polish - http://www.barrym.com
W7 glitter - http://www.w7cosmetics.co.uk
Chevron vinyls - https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/NailStickrs

First I used two coats of Barry M polish 'caramel' which is fab! It applies really well and like most matte polishes, dries really quickly!

I then used vinyls from NailStickrs and applied them to my pinky and painted over pink polish. I removed the vinyls while the pink polish was still wet.

On my ring and index fingers, I applied these cute bird vinyl stickers from SheSellsSeashells. I love these! They're so think so there's no annoying bits sticking up and one coat of top coat smooths and seals all the edges!

On my middle finger I applied a bird cage using topcoat. The birdcage is also from SheSellsSeashells but it's thin metal rather than a sticker so it does stick up more. I use two coats of top coat to smooth these embellishments down.

On my other hand I painted two coats of the Barry M polish on all of my nails except my pinky, I used two coats of the pink polish on that nail. I applied the bird vinyls to my index and ring fingers and did the chevrons on my middle finger. On my pinky finger I applied some pretty iridescent glitter from W7.

My thumbs aren't pictures because I can't 'pose' comfortably with my thumbs showing properly but I applied glitter on my right thumb and a bird cage on my left thumb. I finished the design with top coat to seal all the embellishments!

This polish is amazing! I love Leighton Denny and all of his products and this one doesn't disappoint! It dries matte so you can wear it matte or glossy - either way is amazing! I used two coats without topcoat for this result. It applied really well and dried quickly!

Here's a close up so you can see the sparkle!

Here, I used one coat of Duri as a topcoat to give a glossy finish.

Here's another close up! The glossy finish gives this polish a glass like effect because of the amazing sparkle!

W7 lemon sorbet review

Hi! I hope you're having a fab weekend :) I've spent mine packing orders so I'm trying to catch up on swatching and blogging today!

Todays mani is W7 's lemon sorbet which is my new favourite Summery yellow!

What I used in todays blog post
Base coat - OPI matte nail envy
Colour coats - W7 Lemon sorbet
Top coat - Duri rejuvacote

Where I bought what I used
OPI matte nail envy - http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/vlnailsupply

I know with brights and neons a lot of people use a white base to make the colour pop but I've used two coats of lemon sorbet over my natural nails to show you how the polish looks normally incase you don't like to use a white base. I think this polish is super bright without the white base so I'll definitely try it with soon to see if it's even brighter!

As I mentioned this is two coats of lemon sorbet with a coat of Duri as the topcoat. This polish is fab, like all the W7 polishes I've tried, the formula is great so it coats the nail well and it dries quickly too!

I've taken this picture with slightly less light so you can see how bright it is even without much light!

I hope you love this Summery yellow!

Essence paper print review

Morning :) Yestreday I spent the day swatching lots of new polishes so I'll have those up soon! I hope you have a fab Friday!

Today I have my essence paper print review to show you! Before I get into the review I will say that I contacted Essence about the paper print as I couldn't get a good result using the solution, 99% alcohol or vodka and they have told me that they are looking at the paper print products so there will hopefully be some improvements made as in theory, it's an amazing product!

What I used in todays blog post
Base coat - OPI matte nail envy
Colour coats - Essence 146 That's what I mint
Top coat - Duri rejuvacote
Nail art - Essence paper print

Where I bought what I used
OPI matte nail envy - http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/vlnailsupply
Duri rejuvacote - http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/buydailydeals?_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2754

Duri rejuvacote - http://www.duricosmetics.com/duri-cosmetics-rejuvacote-05-05.html
Essence polish and paper print - find out more about essence and where you can buy the products here http://www.essence.eu

I got all of the paper prints and the solution.

This is what the paper looks like, it's got lots of different patterns and instructions on the paper.

I cut the pattern I wanted and placed it onto a lint free pad, I then covered it in the solution and pressed it onto my nail which was painted with a base of Essence polish 'That's what I mint'.

This was the result......

I tried it on my nails with just base coat and this was the result......

I also tried painting on the solution, waiting 30 seconds and then again covering with solution and this was the result.....

I've scoured blogs and youtube tutorials and nothing seems to be working, so if you have any tips, please leave them below, I'd really appreciate it!

Duri rejuvacote - http://www.duricosmetics.com/duri-cosmetics-rejuvacote-05-05.html

This polish is one of the special effects polishes, its a 'mirror metallic' and it really does live up to it's name! The formula for this is great, dries quickly and was opaque in two coats.

Here's a close up so you can see how amazing  this polish is! Honestly my photos can't do this shade justice! I definitely recommend it!
